Entrepreneurs in Atlanta

Entrepreneurs in Atlanta have so many resources available to them, if you just know where to look.

1. ATDC

ATDC stands for Advanced Technology Development Center, and they call themselves a “start-up accelerator”, which I would agree with.

You can meet with GT (Georgia Tech) professors who are happy to mentor you and give you advice.

Go to their Events, where senior entrepreneurs share their knowledge with you for free. (Their “Rockstars” series is awesome.)

They also have “circles”, which are mini-meetings weekly where you can talk your business struggles and successes over with other people who know what you are going through.

Very inspirational!

2. StarupLounge

Startup Lounge holds quarterly events that connect entrepreneurs to investors. The twist is that only select people get to come, which keeps out the BSers. (The events are free.)

3. Mike Blake

Mike Blake is the co-founder of StartupLounge and meets with entrepreneurs monthly to give them advise. (for free) Its a pleasure to talk about your business with Mike and he will give you some great advice and inspiration. Check out his website for details on his office hours.

Other Resources

Inc Magazine is by far my favorite magazine and at only about $10 per year, its a no brainer.
